About
After graduating from Rhode Island College and earning a masters degree from Providence College, I taught high school and college-level history for several years in south Florida. While in Florida I earned the MLS degree and began transitioning to library and information work. Over the years I've acquired some technical skills and gained experience with a wide variety of equipment and software applications. Regarding operating systems, in my past library life I was Mac, but am now Windows-based (XP). At home I'm XP and Vista. Professionally speaking, I'm very interested in Web 2.0 and the convergence of information, communication and technology skills within the library setting. My personal interests, which include current affairs, running, snowboarding, golf, reading, and a little cooking, compete with my active kids (3) and my lovely wife (1). :-) Want more info? Read on.
